Urban Negativism

About the Release

Urban Negativism was released in 2015 as a four-way split by Ofdrykkja, Vanhelga, Psychonaut 4 and In Luna. Its ten tracks connect projects from Sweden, Georgia and the Chilean-Spanish sphere, demonstrating how differently depressive and atmospheric black-metal approaches can work inside one shared frame. Ofdrykkja open with two raw, restrained pieces. Vanhelga follow with three recordings, including an interpretation of Lifelover’s Resignation. Psychonaut 4 contribute three tracks; I Measure Time in Millilitres is also known as La Deca[Dance] II. In Luna close the split with Androids’ Purgatory and Those Days That Won’t Return. The CD was issued as a four-panel digipak with an eight-page booklet, limited to 500 copies. AOP Records and Talheim Records participated in the historical edition. All four artists are linked directly to this release page so the split remains visible within every participating discography.
