Ofdrykkja

Ofdrykkja were formed in Västerås, Sweden, in 2012. Their Old Norse name refers to excessive drinking. The early music moves between depressive black metal, acoustic passages and a deliberately raw, personal treatment of addiction, loss and psychological distress.

Ofdrykkja contributed Into the Streams of the Black River and Mod to Urban Negativism in 2015. The split places those recordings beside material by Vanhelga, Psychonaut 4 and In Luna, bringing four distinct approaches to depressive and atmospheric darkness into one release.

This profile documents Ofdrykkja’s participation in that specific edition. The band’s broader discography and current work remain available through its official channels.
