On 31 October 2026, Heimdalls Wacht released their new studio album “Sphärenschänder: Echoes Of An Old Belief – Part I” digitally through Talheim Records.
The album opens a two-part concept and continues the band’s musical and narrative development. At its centre stands an awakening Heimdall, emerging from darkness and memory into a modern world that has become increasingly alien to him. Cultural estrangement, the bond with nature, spiritual remembrance and the search for individuality form one continuous musical narrative.
Musically, the album combines Heimdalls Wacht’s raw and melancholic black metal tradition with melodic passages and elements of folk, doom and other metal styles. The previously released tracks “Schwarze Wacht Westfalia” and “Runes To Heal – Weapons To Cure” offered the first views into its different facets.
