Weltennacht

About the Release

Weltennacht appeared in 2014 between the self-titled debut and Todbringer. The EP concentrates Ellende’s early language into three long pieces: the title track, Triebe and Zwischen Sommer und Herbst. Together they form an independent transitional phase rather than a minor detour in the project’s development. The title track sets strings and acoustic space against urgent black-metal passages. Triebe extends that approach beyond ten minutes, while Zwischen Sommer und Herbst closes the EP with a deliberately seasonal, inward-looking motif. Its dynamics emerge from the movement between openness, density and silence. Talheim Records released Weltennacht as a 12-inch vinyl under catalogue number TR008VL, with a total pressing of 500 copies. This page brings the documented side sequence, durations and editions together and links the EP directly to the artist profile and neighbouring albums.
