Harakiri For The Sky

Harakiri For The Sky were formed in Austria in 2011 by M.S. and J.J. The project combines black-metal intensity with expansive guitar melodies, post-rock dynamics and strongly emotional storytelling, developing into one of the internationally most visible Austrian voices in modern post-black metal.

The self-titled debut was originally released in 2012. Tracks including Lungs Filled With Water, 02:19 AM, Psychosis and From Yesterday to Ashes already established the long arcs and the movement between eruptive weight and melancholy that would shape the band’s later work.

The Talheim catalogue documents a later gatefold-vinyl edition of the debut as a historical cooperation. The edition adds Shadowman and was produced together with AOP Records and Diaphora Produktion. The catalogue relationship refers to this specific physical edition.
