About the Release

“Unhealed” is an album by Tulpa from Italy. The release places Tulpa within Black Metal and appeared in the Talheim Records catalogue on 31 May 2019. The debut by the band formed in Parma in 2016 connects black metal with neo-crust, hardcore and a pronounced doom weight. Massive rhythm guitars stand beside dissonant and melancholic leads, keeping the music raw without abandoning its melodic tension. The sequence centres on “Vultures Wait for Me to Die”. “The Melatonist” occupies the most space at 06:29. The catalogue lists the release as CD Digipak under TR060CD.
