About the Release

S.I.G.H.S. expands to Still I Gently Hide Sadness and marks Afraid of Destiny’s third full-length album. Its eight tracks combine atmospheric and depressive black metal with slow weight, orchestral colour and a strongly introspective dramatic arc. From Timor Mortis and Take Me Home, Death through Shells and Tutto ciò che sento to Killed by Life, the album traces a coherent path through loss, isolation and concealed grief. The CD was released through Talheim Records on 15 February 2019 as a four-panel digipak with booklet, limited to 1,000 copies.
