Auf Faehrten alter Tage

About the Release

Auf Faehrten alter Tage moves through a coherent landscape shaped by seasons and memory. The instrumental Einklang opens the album before Walpurgisnacht and Aus alter Zeit reveal the harsher side of Dystertid’s atmospheric black metal. Shorter transitions including Harzwanderung and Am Quellbach keep the sequence moving between the longer compositions. Herbstklage and Durchs Moor deepen that imagery, while Ausklang closes the route without an abrupt break. The eight tracks therefore form a continuous album arc rather than a loose sequence. Talheim Records released the album on 22 December 2014 as a digipak under catalogue number TR016CD, limited to 500 copies. The artist relationship documents this specific release and no broader artist contract.
