About the Release
Wastes of Life was originally released in 2015 and stands among Dødsferd’s most expansive works. The material combines raw black-metal tension with slowly developed, repetitive passages; Sterile Death, Without Mourning, To the Fall of Man and Graves of Your Creator each run beyond eleven minutes. The double-LP sequence extends the album across four vinyl sides. In addition to the five tracks of the original album edition, this version contains Doomed in Eternal Solitude and Staring at the Forthcoming Chaos, bringing the running time beyond 65 minutes. Talheim Records released the gatefold DLP on 17 November 2016. Black, bronze/swamp-green and transparent vinyl with black splatter are documented. This page records that specific physical collaboration separately from the wider Dødsferd discography.
