Children Of The Night

About the Release

Children Of The Night brings Psychonaut 4 from Tbilisi and Nocturnal Depression from Grenoble together on one release. Each band contributes two original pieces and a cover of the other group, turning the split into a musical exchange rather than a loose compilation of unrelated tracks. Psychonaut 4 open with His Right to Remain Silent and #Todrinkandtodance before reinterpreting Nocturnal Depression’s Her Ghost Haunts These Walls. Nocturnal Depression answer with Self-Multilation and Born in a Padded Cell, followed by their version of Bad t.RIP. The reciprocal covers make both common ground and contrasting approaches immediately audible. Talheim Records released the split in 2018 under catalogue number TR058CD as an eight-panel digipak with booklet and poster. This page links both artist profiles, documents all six tracks and keeps the physical edition distinct from the regular studio albums in each band’s discography.
