Our Principles
Talheim Records — Manifesto
We believe in collaboration, not services.
Artists are partners to us, not entries in a catalog. Releases are developed through dialogue and mutual trust. We work with artists who create their music with conviction and pursue a clear artistic vision. For us, music is not a short-term product, but a long-term creative process.
We work transparently.
Open communication and clear, traceable accounting are fundamental to how we operate. Artists should always be able to understand how their releases are created and how they develop over time.
We think long-term.
We support projects across multiple releases and see our work as continuous development rather than individual campaigns.
We release music deliberately.
Quality comes before quantity. Every release should become part of a catalog that grows and evolves over many years.
We believe in physical releases.
Music should not exist only in digital form, but also as a tangible object. For this reason, we place great value on high-quality, carefully produced editions.
We value sustainable production.
The same principle applies to merchandise. We prioritize quality and responsible manufacturing. Some of our textiles come from Neutral®, a manufacturer certified according to international standards such as GOTS, Fairtrade, SA8000, EU Ecolabel, and OEKO-TEX.
We respect artistic integrity.
The identity of a project stands at the center of every release. Our role is to support artists in presenting their music in a form that remains true to their vision.
We remain independent.
Talheim Records does not follow trends or short-term market movements. We release music we believe in and that we feel deserves to endure.
Our catalog grows slowly.
Deliberately.
And with a clear sense of purpose.
