We are very pleased to welcome Stupor to the Talheim Records roster.
The Mexican Depressive Suicidal Black Metal project was founded in 2023 by Nergot and Descëndere and has since developed a distinctive and compelling artistic vision. Stupor exists within a tension of existential emptiness, inner decay, and the dissolution of identity - a state suspended between consciousness and nothingness, where reality and perception increasingly begin to blur.
The band’s music and aesthetics consistently reflect these themes: shaped by coldness, isolation, and a deeply introspective perspective, they create a sound that is not only heard, but experienced. Stupor is not merely a musical project, but an expression of a state in which life and decay are inseparably intertwined.
The band’s upcoming debut album, “To a nameless tomb…”, marks a descent into a fragmented psyche caught between the illusion of life and the pull of nothingness. Across ten tracks, Stupor crafts a bleak and immersive journey through existential collapse, where identity erodes and consciousness lingers without resolution.
We are very much looking forward to the collaboration. Talheim Records will support Stupor in their upcoming releases and future projects.
