We are very pleased to welcome Mother Augusta to the Talheim Records family.

What began in 2013 in the nocturnal streets of Parma not as a traditional band, but as a dark “entity,” has evolved over the years into a firmly established name within the European underground. Shaped by themes of obsession, trauma, and isolation, Mother Augusta create an intense sound that bridges Black Metal and atmospheric depth.

Following their first EP, The Burning Sun of Despair, originally conceived as a one-man project, a full line-up was formed, leading to the release of their widely acclaimed debut album Fragile (Pest Productions) in 2018. For many, the album is considered a hidden gem of the Italian scene, featuring tracks such as “Mom,” “In Myself,” and the title track, which remain key elements of their live performances to this day.

In the years that followed, the band played numerous shows and festivals across Europe, sharing the stage with acts such as Nocturnal Depression, Forgotten Tomb, Ellende, Happy Days, and Harakiri For The Sky.

With their second album Low Lights (2023, Black Blood Records), the band further deepened their artistic vision: an uncompromising exploration of outsiderhood, the feeling of not belonging, and a conscious immersion into darkness and silence. Songs like “Hikikomori” and “Clochard Avenue” turn their live performances into intense journeys through solitude, memory, and the darkest corners of the human soul. The album cycle concluded at the Walpurgisnacht Festival in Berlin, alongside Thy Light.

A new chapter now begins: Mother Augusta’s third album will be released in 2026 via Talheim Records.

Welcome to Talheim Records.
