About the Release

Conclamatum Est places Antiquus Scriptum’s own material beside an extensive sequence of cover versions. The first nine tracks run from The Second Punic War, CCXVIII B. C. – Prologus through several interludes to Horned Cast – Epilogus and form the core of the release. The closing block revisits material by Venom, Celtic Frost, Slayer, Psycoma, Mordaça and Manowar. The CD therefore documents both the project’s symphonic black-metal language and a selection of its musical reference points. Talheim Records issued the professional CD reissue in 2013 under catalogue number TR009CD. It belongs to the same early catalogue sequence as TR007CD and TR008CD; the later 2016 Shopware creation date is not a release date. The jewel case includes an eight-page booklet and is limited to 500 copies.
